Frequently asked questions
Tap Choose in the setup screen or open any text field and use the system keyboard picker. Android keeps the previously selected keyboard active until you explicitly switch.
Open the language manager and make sure the locale is enabled. Only enabled locales appear when you tap the globe key, and unsupported locales are intentionally hidden until they ship with both layout and dictionary coverage.
That is the default behavior. Ethiopic auto-correct is off unless you enable it per language in Settings, because many users prefer full manual control for fidel composition.
Words become eligible after repeated committed use. Type the full word and commit it at least three times in the same locale, then look for it in the suggestion strip or use the dictionary manager to add it explicitly.
Open Settings and adjust Keyboard height. The preview updates to reflect the new scaling and the keyboard surface uses the new size the next time it redraws.
Sound feedback is off by default. Turn on Sound in Settings if you want key clicks, and make sure the device is not in a mode that suppresses system sound effects.
Copy some text first, then open the clipboard panel again. On newer Android versions the keyboard reads the current clipboard directly; on older versions it relies on the keyboard’s saved local history.
Make sure the file contains the locale you expected. Imports replace the stored personal-dictionary state for the locale inside the export, so switching the locale selector after import helps confirm the new entries are present.
Send a bug report with the Android version, app version, active language, and exact reproduction steps. If you can reproduce it in the built-in test field as well as another app, mention both in the report.
The normal keys are still the original keyboard surface. The enhanced toolbar sits above suggestions and opens modern panels for clipboard, translation, language tools, settings, and help.
