2. Permissions Explained

We request the following permissions for specific features. All permissions are optional except for basic keyboard functionality.

Required Permissions

VIBRATE
For haptic feedback when typing. Can be disabled in settings.
READ_USER_DICTIONARY
To read your custom words for personalized suggestions.
WRITE_USER_DICTIONARY
To save words you add to your personal dictionary.

Optional Permissions

RECORD_AUDIO
For voice typing feature. Only active when you tap the microphone button.
  • Audio is processed locally on your device
  • No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted
  • You can use the keyboard without this permission
READ_CONTACTS
For contact name suggestions while typing. Completely optional.
  • Only used to suggest contact names
  • Contact data never leaves your device
  • Can be disabled in settings

3. User Dictionary

Words you add to your personal dictionary are stored only on your device. They are never:

  • Sent to any server
  • Shared with third parties
  • Used for any purpose other than word suggestions
  • Accessible by other apps

4. Voice Typing

When you use voice typing, your privacy is fully protected:

  • Audio is processed locally on your device
  • No audio recordings are saved
  • No audio data is transmitted
  • The feature works completely offline
  • No cloud processing involved

5. Third-Party Services

Modern Multiling Keyboard does NOT use any third-party services that could compromise your privacy:

  • No analytics services
  • No advertising networks
  • No tracking services
  • No data collection frameworks
  • 100% privacy-focused

6. Children's Privacy

Our app is safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app is designed to be family-friendly and secure.
